Building Conservation
We have a great interest in the interface of traditional building methods and materials with building to modern standards, especially in conjunction with environmentally friendly materials and designs.
We have experience in restoring severely fire-damaged historic properties, extending, adapting and restoring listed buildings, and of new build in a traditional style.
Our buildings department currently includes highly skilled tradesmen and women in bricklaying, stonemasonry, joinery and groundworks. Typically other trades are sub-contracted to a pool of firms and individuals with whom we have a long working relationship, any plastering being done by our own plastering department.
